Content: knittedknockersusa.com is the website for Knitted Knockers Charities, Inc. which is an Arizona non-profit corporation and a 501 (c) (3) public charitiy under the Internal Revenue Code. Knitted Knockers are a light comfortable knitted prosthetic alternative for women who have had a mastectomy. When placed in a bra, these knitted breasts take the shape and feel of a real breast. They are lighter and more comfortable than silicone prosthetic breasts. The knitted fabric breathes and prevents the heat rash & discomfort experienced by many women wearing the silicone ones. Since we began in 2010, we have given alway close to 5,000 knitted/crocheted knockers to women in all 50 states. Knitted Knockers are made and donated to us by volunteers across the country. After we receive them they are checked, sized and packaged for free distribution to mastectomy patients.
